This short study of Lawrence, by a friend of his, is in the form of a memoir and recollection of conversations dealing with Lawrence’s fascination with the psychological significance of old myths and traditions. There was a strongly irrational and mystical and quasi-occult element to much of Lawrence’s writing and this beautifully produced book is an interesting personal account of Lawrence’s own views on these matters.
