An Aperture Monograph

New York: Aperture, Millerton/MOMA. 1972.

First edition, first printing, exclusively for MoMA. 4to, Unpaginated.

A near-fine copy in printed photographic boards with some bumping to the lower corners. In a Near-fine photographic DJ in mylar wraps with one small closed tear to the rear bot tom edge near the spine and a smaller one to the top edge in a near-identical position. A scarce 1st edition of the monograph produced to accompany the MoMA restrospective of Arbus' work that closely followed her suicide and cemented her place in the first rank of American photographers. This edition carries the print of two girls wearing identical raincoats that was excised from later printings.
