Folio, 470x340mm. Ten aquatints plates by Ludovico Caracciolo after works by Claude Lorrain. Quarter green calf, green watered silk covered boards. Centre of upper cover has red morocco hexagonal label with gilt border and "Claude Lorrain" stamped in gilt. Some wear and scuffing to extremities. Internally very good although with some foxing in places. A very nice set of prints whose watery softness captures the gentle light of Claude's great landscapes.
